Power of Flame

I have discovered that my next challenge is the Element of Fire. It has taken me a few weeks to recover from the last challenge but now I am ready. I decided that I want to try to extinguish a candle without blowing on it or touching it.
I started with a small candle. I was on my bed, meditating on the very small, puny flame on my altar nearby. The room was dark and the flame barely gilded the wall behind it. The rest of the room was completely dark.
I tried pushing my energy towards the candle to see if I could have any effect, maybe make it flicker. I was aiming for dimming it but instead it got really bright! Like bright enough to light up my whole room. This is just a teeny tiny candle. It stayed that bright-lighting up all four walls of the room, until I blew it out like an hour later. It shouldn't have even lasted that long. And it was barely burned down at all. It is supposed to be a one hour candle but it is only burned about 1/4 of the way down.
